Next Gen OD: How OD Must Adapt
to the Tsunami of Workplace Change

Every day, 10,000 Baby Boomers retire. Gen Y or Millennials now make up the largest generation in the workplace. As a workplace phenomenon, the day of the Baby Boomer is now rapidly closing. Organizations are right in the middle of a generational tsunami of change they don’t even recognize is upon them, and totally unprepared to deal with.

How will organizations cope with these changes? What will organizations look like in the future? How will they be structured? What type of culture will be the most successful? What type of employees will excel? Who will be formal leaders?

As a result of massive fundamental workplace changes, the field and practice of organizational development must change too. Now is the time for the OD field to transform itself, so it will remain a relevant change agent in organizational life.

Be sure you attend April’s DFW OD Network event, where you will experience a highly interactive presentation on how organizations are changing and how the field of OD must change right along with it.

At this presentation you will learn about major demographic, technical, and societal changes that will bend organizations into a shape never seen before. You will be part of a lively conversation about what the field of OD must do in order to be relevant and remain a major player.

Finally, experience the “thrill” of three generations co-facilitating this critical OD message!
