The Future of Work —
Disaster or Opportunity?
Hilary and Brian Hinchcliffe have studied the changing nature of work for 20 years. In this interactive session, they will discuss the rapid and exponential change we are all experiencing, driven by technological innovations such as AI and Augmented Reality, and how those changes are impacting the world of work – today and tomorrow. They will pose some questions to challenge your thinking, including:
- What are the capabilities that employers seek in new employees today?
- What the emerging work arrangements? Who will be affected?
- How can workers mitigate the negative impacts of these changes and capitalize on the positive impacts?
- What are the implications for OD practitioners?
- Will OD become less or more important as these changes begin to bite?
